Upcoming Workshops

Here at Georgia Writers, we are honored to host writers’ workshops for our community. Whether you’re looking for fresh eyes for a draft, or are curious about a new writing genre, our writers’ workshops are tailored to enrich and support writers at varying career and project stages. Our workshops are hosted on a monthly basis, typically over Zoom, and are led by Georgia-based authors and writing professionals. Some of our previous hosts include Madison Hatfield (screenwriting), Kristi DeMeester (Southern Gothic), Justin Gardiner (lyric essays), Chantel Acevedo (middle-grade novels), and Julia Skinner (food writing). Georgia Writers’ workshops are free for current members of the Georgia Writers Association (GWA) or are $25 for non-members. Current GWA members also receive access to our Library of Past Workshops so that they can view and participate in workshops at their leisure.

Be sure to check back here and on our social media for information about our writers’ workshops!
