Lyric Forms of the Essay

In this Zoom craft talk and workshop led by 2025 Georgia Author of the Year winner Justin Gardiner, we will look at the way essayists make use of lyric forms—in particular, source collage and braided structures—to resist, complicate, and ultimately enrich their narratives. Advanced readings will be provided for attendees, and Justin will also speak some about the structural choices he made in putting together his book ‘Small Altars.’

All experience levels are welcome!

**Admission is free for members of the Georgia Writers Association. Check your email for a promo code that gives you a 100% discount. If you are a member and didn't receive the code, email administrator@georgiawriters.org.
