GWA Online Workshop: Approaching Poetic Self-Portraiture with Malcolm Tariq
September 12, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm$20
Not really a form, the poetic self-portrait is a versatile practice that uses images and metaphors to reveal information about a subject. Some are self-reflective, while others directly address the reader. In many ways, the self-portrait is a step towards the persona poem. In this workshop, we will discover the many faces of the poetic self-portrait and begin exercises to usher us into creating our own.
