What I Wish I Had Known Back Then
Saturday, February 23rd from 12:00-2:00
Join Man Martin as he explains the importance of beginning your promotional campaign before having a book published or even written. During this event, Man will discuss why promotion is truly an act of generosity and his own experience and learning curve in self-promotion.
Man Martin spent his childhood in Florida and Georgia and currently teaches high school English in Atlanta. He was the Georgia Author of the Year Award winner for his novels "Paradise Dogs" (Fiction-2012) and "Days of the Endless Corvette" (First Novel-2008). His work has appeared in The Kenyon Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, and elsewhere. Man's blog, Man Overboard, is just one of the ways he connects with his readers through social media. This summer he will be co-teaching a one-week novel writing workshop at Kenyon University in Gambier, Ohio. Attend his workshop on Saturday, February 23rd to learn more about the art of self and book promotion in the ever-changing world of publishing and marketing.
