 Sandra Jones Cropsey is still growing up in the South. Her writing focuses on southern charm, southern eccentricities. Her favorite quote is by Flannery O'Connor, who when asked why southern writers always write about the grotesque, responded, "Maybe we're the only ones left who still recognize it."
