 Richard Jay Hutto compiled and edited Accepted Fables, the autobiography of Jordan Massee, and wrote Their Gilded Cage: The Jekyll Island Club Members, for which he was a finalist for Georgia Author of the Year. An attorney, writer, and published authority on Americas Gilded Age, he served as White House Appointments Secretary to the Carter Family and was Chairman of the Georgia Council for the Arts. He and his wife and children live in Macon where he is an elected member of City Council.
