Jennifer Evans 44th GAYA Winner Creative Non-Fiction: Biography What the Locusts Had Eaten, The Nikki O'Baire Story The author of What The Locusts Had Eaten, The Nikki O’Baire Story is a member of the Atlanta Writers Club and a former member of the Christian Authors Guild (CAG). She has three non-fiction short stories in an anthology published by CAG: No Small Miracles. While living in Manila, the author published two books. The first, Diamonds in the Rough, Jewels in the Making, is a Bible study for women. It was published by the Church Strengthening Ministry, affiliated with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. It is being used throughout that nation. The other is a children’s book, Gaya’s Gift, published by OMF Publishers in diglot (English and Filipino). To date, over 6,000 copies of Gaya’s Gift have been sold. Her non-fiction articles have appeared in several periodicals, including Clubhouse (for Focus on the Family) and Vocational Biographies. |
