Pat Patterson
Since taking leave as coordinator of Atlanta Public Schools’ mathematics and computer programs, Dr. Patterson has turned to his love of fiction, a lifelong veracious reader and now as a writer. While he is first and foremost a screenwriter – having trained under Syd Fields, Robert McKee, and other notables at the Gotham Writers Workshop at Hunter College – Pat has proved to be a gifted and talented novelist. Pat has completed five scripts for feature films, all of which have been adapted to novels and audio books – he does his own voice-overs. His script, FREAKNIC, which later became his first novel, has been optioned by ICA Filmworks. His adult novels, Freaknic, The Morning Glory Gang, Pretty Maids, and Psychosis are selling very well locally and from his website.
