Judy Diamond Judy Diamond lives in Atlanta, Georgia and is originally from New York. In December 1993, she had a life-changing experience…she came in from the cold. This fortunate event occurred upon her relocation from the frozen tundra of Upstate, New York all the way to the city of “Hot-lanta.” A side effect (and benefit) was that Judy’s fingers defrosted, at which point, she began to write. Her short stories are inspired by the HIPPOcrisy of situations and funny side of life. Judy also likes to write children’s books, and in 2007 she published “Hip Hip Away!!,” a heartwarming tale of a lovable hippo and a hot-air balloon.Judy, formerly an avid rollerskater, traded in her skates for an assortment of usher badges which she dons while volunteering at various musical and theatrical events around Atlanta. Judy has two children and a grandhorse named Samson, and she is a lifelong hippo lover. In her spare time, she is an Administrative Coordinator in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech and a member of Southern Humorists.com.
