Performing for over 30 years, she has done literally thousands of solo in-school performances throughout the country, using her dance and theatre backgrounds to enrich her tales and bring her characters to life, and her writing skills to craft her varied stories and shows. A performer and "creator of shows" since she can remember, going back to a highly imaginative childhood, she has been a recipient of a choreographer's fellowship from the S.C.Arts Commission/NEA and individual artist's grants from the California Arts Council, Wisconsin Arts Board, and the Georgia Arts Council. Her history shows have been noted as, The best way to make history come to life for anyone. A Hambidge Fellow, she is currently on the Touring Arts Roster of the Georgia Arts Council; National Storytelling Network Source Book; National Women's History Project national listing at http://www.nwhp.org/.; SouthernArtistry.org listing at http://www.artistsweballiance.com/; approved Artists Roster of the South Carolina Arts Council and the Fulton County School Arts Program at http://www.fultonart.org/pro/scharts. In metro-Atlanta, where she lives, she books her 28 different touring shows through Young Audiences of Atlanta, Inc. and received the first outstanding artist's award through them.
